Minibus & Telephone Exchange to St Famille Akoura

The Rotary Club of Beirut Cosmopolitan in partnership with The Rotary Club of Reno Nevada, USA and a Matching Grant from The Rotary Foundation has donated a 15 seat Minibus to provide free transportation for students living in the neighboring villages who do not have or can't afford private transportation to get to school.

The handing over ceremony took place on June 28 in the presence of eleven Rotarians from RCBC, the school principle and a number of children.

St. Famille School in Akoura is among the few schools in Lebanon that offers free education to 118 students. These students come from the village of Akoura and neighboring villages, 45 of these students enjoy free boarding in addition to free education.
