Today, we gather not only to celebrate two young lives that have been given a second chance, but also to honor the memory of Past President Mounir Jabre, a truly remarkable Rotarian and humanitarian.
Mounir dedicated his life to serving others. He
led with generosity, humility, and compassion, always believing that the true measure of our lives is found in the good we do for others. He never hesitated to help the vulnerable, the sick, and those in need.
He was also a faithful supporter and donor of “Gift of Life Lebanon”, deeply believing that every child deserves the chance to live, to grow, and to dream. He firmly believed in giving children born with heart disease the priceless gift of a second chance at life.
Today, thanks to the generosity of Mounir’s friends and the friends of “Gift of Life Lebanon”, two children have received life-saving heart surgeries in his memory.

A life of service. A legacy of life.
These words truly reflect who Mounir was and the beautiful legacy he leaves behind.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone who contributed to this meaningful tribute, and especially to PP Lina Shehayeb, Founder and President of “Gift of Life Lebanon”, whose unwavering dedication has given countless children the precious gift of life.
Mounir may no longer be with us physically, but he will never leave our hearts. His memory will remain eternal, alive, and forever intact within each one of us. Through every child whose life is saved, through every smile restored, and through every act of kindness inspired by his example, his spirit will continue to live on.
May God bless his beloved wife, Rimane, his wonderful sons, Nazih, Samer and their families with strength, peace, and comfort.
Mounir, you will never be forgotten. Your memory will remain eternal and forever alive in our hearts.
